One of my buddies has a Norin deck that just blows my mind. It's so much better than it should be haha.

Don't get me wrong, in the few times when it wasn't making me kick my own ass, it was some good ol' fashioned dirty mean fun =]

I have tried Diluvian and it was a bit underwhelming, but I haven't tried Sepulchral...and I gotta tell you, that sounds like a really nice idea.

Thanks, glad you like it =]

I tried Tyranny, and it worked great in some situations, but there were a lot more times where it would spank me just as hard as my opponent...so I had to take it out.

And as for Barbed over regular Shocker...it's a coin flip really. Do I pay 2 extra for the trample and haste? Or do I have a quickly dropped little sleeper that people make the mistake of forgetting? It's hard to say.

I know for a fact the haste would rarely come in handy, and the only real way to make use of the trample (a 2/2 with trample is essentially the same as "chump with two versus one") is to give it the Sword. I think if I had more creature support or this were more geared towards aggro, I might take barbed.

From what I gather (and from the experience of playing this deck) sorin is very good in Elmer's Pox. I think the most surprising is that this has become a pet project. I expected Arty to keep plugging away making his Pox, Stax, Stox, etc. decks...didn't expect so many others to do it too.

Kinda cool =]

I've always loved that quote.

Before Fauna Shaman came around, I would have used Mentor. And thanks =]

Generally a good idea, but in the case of this deck, too slow. I'm using crap like Windfall...so the bell is a little underwhelming in that regard haha.

I like the quote, and the deck. I'm assuming the Emp. Angel is in the main in place of Inky because there are these brief moments if extreme vulnerability when (ab)using Grisly and she provides greater defense?

The Rack is good, but compared to Black Vise, it's pretty lackluster. As for Mind Twist, I don't know how well it would work in here to be perfectly honest. The spells in this deck aren't just discard spells, they're discard AND draw. That sort of up and down/down and up trickery maximizes the damage I can dish out with Megrim, Underworld, etc.

Prime example of why my number one tip to new players is "RTFC" (Read The Fucking Cards) tonight...I attack with Kederekt Parasite, Kami of the Crescent Moon, Shocker, and Cryptborn Horror (which was a 5/5 at that point). I had a Megrim on the field as well as the aforementioned Kederekt Parasite. The opponent had a full (7 cards) hand. He blocked the Cryptborn and Kami, then said he'll let the other "two damage" through. Shocker's ability triggered and ended up costing that opponent 22 life and the game.

If only the kid had read just what Shocker did besides being a 1/1. Ah well, at least he won't be making the same mistake twice...at least not with Shocker =/

This already looks pretty good to me. The main two things I would see if I could change are ...

1) A way to make the deck less "Foursy". Foursy is a word my friends and I use to describe a deck that has only/way too many "4-ofs". As it stands, your deck is extremely Foursy, and I'd see if there's some slimming down you could do to some of the cards to make some room for additional utility cards...give it some more overall flexibility.

2) Look to see if there are better alternatives to the cards you have. I, for one, think you might want to at least try the Werewolf "Scorned Villager". It's a little quicker to play than Fynhorn Elder, buuuuuut you have to get it to transform so you have to finagle around a bit, figure out what works and what doesn't.

The framework you have for this deck looks good, it just needs a few pokes and prods I think.

Yeah, she (I think) is surprisingly good. Funny you'd say that because I just today had a game where I got her ultimate off and amassed one hell of an exile pile. You keep that engine going and you can steal all kinds of stuff from your opponents, which is good for this deck especially since it's a little lower on creatures.

This looks fun. I have to wonder the reason you have Hanweir Watchkeep in here over Kruin Outlaw.

Yeah, Arty's wife doesn't play, but is cool about him playing. And Allie (Fiancé de Wumps) actually does play...and has some pretty damn good decks too!

I figure one of these days I'll meet a girl who's cool about Mtg, but until then...meh =P
