Yeah that sounds about right. I'm always torn though when choosing between Intuition and Buried Alive with builds like this, they both offer so much. Also, have you considered Inkwell Leviathan? From what I can gather it'd be pretty great with the Shapeshifter.

This is why the scale shall remain Wither>Infect for a nice long time. If they had made an infectious Bob I might have tried it, but I probably wouldn't since it's easier to stick with normal damage. As fetches, and suicidal tendencies are still prevalent in Legacy.
So wait... If I took Joe's RUG Tempo deck, and slipped in a tenth Wizard, would it be legal for the tribal format as a wizard tribe? XD
If you're having trouble with decks like Lands, there's nothing better against them than Mental Misstep. It's one of the few decks that was hurt as bad as it was by that card, and Enchantress is difficult to deal with unless you're willing to go BUG. I like the idea of this, and Volrath's Shapeshifter is definitely something I have to look into.
I think the first time I saw Punishing-Grove was in the Lands thread on Salvation, and I can't say how much it amuses me. The archetype isn't that bad, it's just an merger between a few decks I don't particularly enjoy. It's everything I hate from RUx, coupled with what evolved out of Landstill. Has a terrible match against most graveyard based shenanigans it seems though, so I can't really complain for most of my decks.
Lavamancer is FUN, I can't believe I didn't really start toying with it till this year.
Pretty neat, and I know you didn't start the whole stoneblade thing, but you're a great force perpetuating it. I commented what little input I could on them, I've not had much time with the deck. I've been using Dredge, so it didn't go very far.
Then the one I like the best, favourite colour scheme for the deck, and most dangerous in the current meta. Main deck looks pretty much set, but I don't know how I feel about Ancestral Vision. It's nice yes, but I find cantrips more to my play style than the brute draw. Sideboard is probably meta tweaked, but isn't Flusterstorm generally accepted to be Spell Pierces more awesome brother? Also, made an Italian Stoneblade to work on foil strategies. I'd appreciate a passing glance as well, want it up to snuff before I work on killing it. And sorry if I'm not making sense, I'm not exactly that well today.
Liking this one better, it's pretty neat, and I think better focused for the archetype overall. Third favourite style of the deck. Like with the one I did, I too wish it could have space for a playset of Tidehollow Sculler. It'd give me my beloved fourteen card disruption suite. But alas, that would be a dream world, where I'd hopefully have reassembled my TES.
Hmmm, so you draw off of your creature base, sacrifice them for mana, and repeat until Emracool... Neat. I did a double take when I saw it, and definitely approve. I especially like the touch of the Symbiote. Also, you people with your Stoneblade decks need to stop growing in numbers... It's simple enough to deal with, but it's downright obnoxious. Better than Fish though, maybe I'm just tired of seeing it(seven matches, two days)
Yeah, I'm currently lacking in the department of mana dorks. Noble is being used in my Bant and RUG lists, so it's used up, and I don't own any Birds.
Sprechen Deutsches?=Like ein Chef.
I think I'd be able to take a few of you, but I know at least two of you would get me >_<
While you two are at it, why not come down to GA and cure my problem with Maverick... Deck has gotten about annoying, with its GSZ into Teeg, or NO into Terastodon... Cure that problem, and I'll explain why the rum is gone.
I would have wound up responding a bit like this http://www.myfacewhen.com/332/
Must... Resist... Urge to trade for duck...
Seems like it's twice as funny because of the Fatespinner :D
Looks pretty sick man, should shore up the aggro MU's quite nicely. Especially the Null Rods against affinity, it's just funny as hell.
I know what you mean about MWS... I've been using it for months, and still have no idea what in the ninth ring of hell is going on. I've just given up on trying to figure it out, and have started using the excuse that it's like voodoo when people ask me why I did something. >_< It oddly enough works half of the time.
Think survival near the end of its brief span, specifically the ones with loyal retainers. This is essentially the evolution of that deck, by taking its last great innovation to the next level. I've just been kind of looking at this deck as a better version of survival since the beginning, as I find it more resilient, and it has better reanimation capabilities.
