Should reread Phyrexian Obliterator... It's basically the same thing

I don't run any gravehate, but I do run a similar SB to you. I run two Powder Kegs, a third GSZ now, and Teeg over Surgical Extraction. I also took out the fourth NO, as I found it overbearing usually, and replaced it with Blazing Archon. For Affinity and Zoo, Blazing Archon is really the best for it, we run reanimation tactics, we don't have to always play for the combo. Our aggro is recursive unlike theirs, and against affinity all we have to do is make sure Tezz doesn't live.
It's not 'cheating', it's creative problem solving! It's done in politics, relationships, and fights :P
Waaaaaaaaait, I qualify as a celebrity? In some way, I have to find a way to sneak this into a job application...
Indeed, it looks like it'd be quite the pain to go against as well.
Favourite card right now is Doomsday, five cards to win? Challenge accepted. My questions are pretty simple 1. What's your favourite band? 2. Jay, or Silent Bob? 3. What do you think about a control deck running Doomsday -> Shelldock Isle as a finisher? Congratulations on making it to one-fifty man!
I don't know the vaulters personally. I play in the middle Georgia area, but right now I'm not into competitive play. I'm learning how to use the whole 'magic workstation' thing so I can get back into it, but the thing boggles me. I don't play Dodgeball, I play soccer every now and then. And my favourite card combo is Entomb -> Exhume/Reanimate/Animate Dead, I loves me my Reanimator.
The mana is open at more points in the turn using Arbor Elf over Llanowar, and I'd personally use a two:two split between Arbor and Noble Hierarch... But this is standard.
Better, but I don't know how I feel about Counterbalance with the mana curve on it now. :/
Pretty damned good actually. I've Replaced Birds with Arbor Elf due to personal preference, then some sideboard changes, and it's been doing pretty great. Bad combo MU hurts me a little bit, so I've been considering sneaking in a third GSZ, and a Teeg. Dredge is a joke, especially if you run blue splash for Wonder, and a few counters like in Survival. It's laughable even. Reanimator is an interesting match because they think of you as straight aggro, so they'll probably go for Blazing Archon first, usually leaving you enough time to safely combo. And then fish is just fish, it's survival all over again there.
The land seems a bit light here, and with a playset of Mox Diamond I bet you'll feel that shortly. On the matter of Unmask in here, I actually think it'd be better as Thoughtseize here. Unmask is card disadvantage, which matters here more than in combo, or a straight Pox deck.
Then with most lists, you run into the problem of StP somewhere in the 75.
Hmmm, seems possible to run a TEAM-esque Reanimator. It'd have to go with an even lighter creature base than it already has, reduce the amount of outlets and revive effects, so it'd be interesting. In a build such as what you're talking about I'd suggest two copies of Jin, and only one Iona. The only other creature I see being a must have is Blazing Archon, other than that meta tweak.
Bazaar of Baghdad is banned in legacy, and it is possible to lose in this situation still, as I've won games off of a land in my hand. I think you underestimate the power of combo in eternal formats.
Hmmm, this could very well be more amusing than using Word of Command on somebody playing Storm
Did not think this was possible yet, I have been bamboozled :O
:D it has been so long since an influx of new players, now I know of two competent players venturing into the most beautiful of Archetypes! Jeg Liker! Ich Mag! ? ?????!
I have always seen Rogue Elephant and Tarmogoyf as the realm to shoot for, especially in pump stompy.
More counters basically. A resolved BSZ is bad news for you, so the best thing to do is just not let it resolve. Same for the other two.
Prevent all damage I'd take on my turn, I don't see where that'd be helpful for me. Am I missing something?
