Even if he doesn't build it right the orb will hurt them more. Even if you play 1 land each turn and play orb at turn 2, 3 and two at turn 4 and tap all your available mana each turn your orbs will not kill you before your turn 7, by which you should have won if your deck works :D And remember that you have mill-spells so you will win the race unless the opponent is trained in facing mill, has a good deck and is devious enough for it to matter...

I play mill in legacy too, and there's about 3 percent reanimate, 6 percent sneak/omnishow and a few other percentages that use emrakul like elves enchantress and so on. All in all there's about 20% chance of encountering emmy in legacy :D

Instead of locking down the lands, throw out 4 curse of the bloody tome and insert 4 mesmeric orb

Mainproblem is stuff like emrakul.

You could use pyxis of pandemonium instead of the bells, and place 4 noxious revival in the sideboard.
Noxious revival is rather good against gravedecks too, as you put their keycard on top in response to almost everything.
(For example, you have pyxis in play, mill them for 13 with an archive trap and see them place emrakul in the grave, let them stack emrakul's trigger, use noxious to place emrakul on top, then remove it with pyxis and let them shuffle the rest since your main concern is gone)

What about that black artifact-protecting monkey from arabian nights? You are ancient enough to have it ;D

Aphotic wisp and distorting lense could be replaced with painter's servant, and you could then include the very fancy deathgrip from ye olden times too... (Arti-monkey would be nice with painter)

Well, first obvious suggestion would be darksteel citadel for the lich :D

Akuta might be nice with crucible of worlds?

There's a gargoyle costing 6 or 7 mana or something which is also indestructible, and has flying.

There's also a golem which is all colors (from around the first ravnica cycle)

Rather remove 2 twincast and 1 damnation, then consider if you want 4 in your deck as the most successfull mill-designs use 3. I myself use 4.

This deck is the most recently modern mill to win a top-place:
http://www.mtgvault.com/wickeddarkman/decks/nanihas-ub-modern-mill/

And here is my own most successfull design:
http://www.mtgvault.com/wickeddarkman/decks/fast-reliable-modern-mill/

If you take a look at my own stuff, you will find detailed decks explaining why the cards are there and how good they are.

Also I like your list. It's comprehensive but lacks a little bit of the more radical research. Stuff like fertilid and marelen of the mornsong has slipped through and both are sort of milling the opponent in an untraditional way. Go through some mill decks in here, and see some more radical picks, then use search enginges with some of the new keywords you will pick up...

I think the numbers in this deck can be worked on a lot.
12 cards to use infinite mana AND 12 search cards is simply overkill, even if the search is also there for the myr.

Just 4 enlightened tutor would cover all the necessary search AND speed up the turn at which the deck can kill.

Points for the wordplay in the name though :D

This could easily be made modern.
I like the idea, but don't think it will work without heavy work.

Mesmeric orb is the best there is...

Telling time and fabricate are too narrow, and the deck lacks a defence mechanism!

I'm thinking of removing telling time and fabricate, and inserting noxious revival and drowner of secrets.
The logic behind is this:

Drowner brings a bit more defence and allows you to selfmill during opponents end-phase to get keycards in your graveyard.

Once enough stuff is in the graveyard you should be able to noxious revival the missing pieces (even getting noxious with mystic retrieval)

I also think you should try out to see if theres a way to exploit undead alchemist with the fatestitchers!

Barbed shocker?
Otherwise you will have to use some other cards that does not fit your color theme!

Overall this idea needs some backup...
You will especially need cards against someone who plays stuff like emrakul.

Also I think you need mesmeric orb to selfmill as a strategic way to replay lots of stuff, and this might be a way to play with lingering souls as well to boost the performance of undercity informer. (You want to play cheap critters to sac fast, since at least 6 critters are needed to mill a deck. Bloodghast?)

Perhaps stuff like myr servitor can also help.

Way back in time when affinity was more populare than it was now I had a GU deck with land-walkers and sigil of sleep.
Sigil of sleep will be immensly good on an invisible stalker.
