<_< The scary thing is that I'm not surprised. This is what comes to mind with the phrase "Mill your face off".

Excellent use of Grand Architect. I was hoping someone would pick up on Painters + Architect = assload of mana. Oh, and you really only need 3 counterbalance. Their effect is not cumulative, and 3 will still allow you to snag one the vast majority of the time.
Oh it's a compliment. Not much I would change in this really, it's very solid. I would maybe use another manabond, but I dunno. I also don't get the 1 forest...I'm assuming to maintain a basic? Otherwise dude...I can't see how to improve on this any more, well done. =] I hate to shamelessly ask for deck visits, but would you mind checking out my latest decks? I think you'll get a kick out of them.
Thanks, glad you like it. =]
I tried both of them and muffyn was just too slow for me. The constant recursive abilities of this deck give me more than enough card advantage and if I MUST draw cards, I can use the amazing card Unearth. As for Attrition, when you look at it, it's a worse version of Grave Pact that in the long run, costs more. Plus, Grave Pact make them sacrifice the creatures. Sure, I can't target them, but sacrificing is so hard to avoid and it powers up my creatures. =]
Wow, hey I'm glad to see this came together. Appologies for taking so long to comment, but it seems like you figured it out all the same. =] You might want to consider Exsanguinate to replace Death Grasp depending. I would not take out Pridemates. Those guys get so huge in a deck like this.
The ramp is great. It seems like you can get out Progenitus very fast consistently.
Also, I'm pretty sure the addition of Memoricide, which I toss on Panoptic Mirror, is my favorite new addition. Each turn just naming off something is so destructive. Me: "Hey, don't you have a playset of Wall of Omens?" Opponent: "Screw you I'm not telling" Me: "Tap Isochron...Seek. There they are. Pull out another Jace....And Panoptic Memoricide naming Wall of Omens. Go on, take 'em out." Opponent: "Please stop."
And this is why I like to run Sadistic Sacrament in my extraction decks. It can target lands, specifically it can target THESE lands. Next to super creature-heavy non-tribal (can't extract lords) aggros...these are honestly the biggest pain in the ass to hold off with extraction.
I know. Once I was done with it I showed it to a buddy and he put it down on the table and walked away without saying a word. =]
I own only a few of the original dual lands, and sadly, none of the ones I have are the one's for this deck =[ Plus, I figure using the "painlands" is a little...more fair. And, I think Godless Shrine has some of the coolest artwork for a land out there. Also, let's not forget the crushing realization that my opponent will have when they figure out that I've done more damage to myself than they have. XD
Yeah it's pretty nuts isn't it? =]
Hey thanks man. I'm a fan of this deck too, and exalted is amazing, especially with Lightmine Field acting as a giant middle finger.
Infinite power/toughness is always sweet to have, and it gives me infinite tokens if I have Flourishing Defenses out, then I can hit all my tokens with BSZ and Bitter Ordeal someone's deck so hard it spontaneously combusts! =]
WnB has it right. As I explained in a different deck, Dark Ritual, and cards similar to it, are potentially more of a risk to their owners than to the opponent. That's why an extractor, at least one that knows what he's doing, won't extract the Rituals at all, even though it might seem obvious to take out the speed boosts. Also, Bloodghast isn't supposed to ever block (if he could I mean), he's meant to aggro someone's face off.
Oh damn it. Alright seriously I'll check out these decks. Sorry dudes. =[
Ever wonder why an extractor doesn't take out Dark Rituals? This very reason. It might seem like taking away those speed boosts would be a good idea, but letting the opponent play them into a trap and/or nothing at all is a lot better. A rocket without guidance is a bomb =P (If you can't tell, I've been in an Extraction mood lately, be on the look-out!)
Hehe, this is awesome. You realize Progenitus is the MTG version of "God" right? So fighting against it is like trying to win against God XD
Here's what bugs me about Body and Mind. It's good in that it's protection is a pain in the ass to deal with, but it's other abilities are so freakin' random that it bugs me... Wizards designer 1: "Alright, so I got the name worked out guys. Body and Mind!" Wizards designer 2: "Body for green and Mind for blue! Nice work!" Wizards designer 3: "So bob...you got the abilities for it done yet?" Bob the stoner: "Yeah man...It'll like...Give you a doggie." Wizards designers (in unison): "A doggie? And?" Bob: "Oh...right...right man. Ah...OH and, get this! It mills the opponent ten cards...Gnarly maaaan". Wizards designers: "Y'know what....**** it."
-1/-1 counters are a lot more potent than people think. My Wither deck (improved with BSZ) still kicks the crap out of people! The idea is to make a ton of 1/1 tokens, then blast them with BSZ and then drop a gigantic Bitter Ordeal. This idea is actually an adaptation of an old type of extraction deck that used Damnation and Bitter Ordeal (sometimes with Tempting Wurm too, the combo was called "Damn Tempting"). I think I might be able to make it run faster with BSZ.
