Right, and remember, this is supposed to be a "nice(er)" deck...The classic Damn Tempting combo (an old B/G control deck used it) is just too mean to do.

I know...I think my post was worded poorly. I think I accidentally made it sound like Tempting Wurm is like a Hypergenesis, and it's not. =/

Those are all great suggestions, but they all pander to a different style of doing the "Orzhov thing".

Hey no problem. And just get yourself noticed again. I always say, comment on other decks and people will comment on yours. =]

Right, I gotta check out both yours and Kumar's decks this weekend. Sorry, been rather swamped lately.

Tapping, if done right, can be a ruthless form of control. I'd direct you to my tap deck if it'll help give you some ideas. =]

I love this idea. It's a very...uniquely designed take on infect, and it works arguably BETTER than "main-stream" designs.

To Purkle and ragged, I probably should include this in the deck description...I've recently been making "subdued" decks. It might sound odd, but I geared this deck (and like...4-5 other decks) to be less-than-optimal/unfair. The reason being that I wanted to have a selection of decks that I can:

1) loan to newer players

2) play against newer players

3) take it easy on players with average/below average decks

So this is one of them. =]

The other ones I can think of are Can of Wurms and Checkmate...but I know I'm forgetting one or two =/

Yeah...I suppose I could do a tune up.

Ah that's much better looking. I'm surprised you haven't jumped into Battle Cry with a Boros deck. You planning on making one?

I like it. I would suggest trying a lower land base (with your mana curve being so frickin' shallow), and to try out Galvanic Blast. You might have enough consistent artifacts to run it. Last thing...No Opals? They're one of the things that lets mine win on turn 2...you should try them out. =]

I think Cabbaj uses them in his version. The reason that I don't use them is because they rely on me using Kuldotha Rebirth, otherwise it's generally too slow to keep up with the rest of the deck's pace. So I don't like to put something in that only benefits (or benefits FROM) a small portion of the deck's win conditions.

I'm a big fan of odd tribals. This one is really pretty cool. I'll admit I don't know all that much on the subject of archers, so I doubt I could be of that much help. =/

I do love Virulent Swipe, but I don't know if I'll add it into the deck. Ichor Rats is great because it forces an infect counter, which sets up Septic Rats and can really do a number when used with Hand of the Praetors out.

Nice. I assume you will use Overgrown Battlement to dump a huge-ass comet out of the sky? I would make sure you have other ways to win other than that though, but otherwise it will work nicely.

Good mana curve but I think the deck could use some updates. For example, Honor of the Pure, Elspeth, some control elements?

This deck is 100% playsets, which to me tends to read "I just threw this together". It's good, but it's not as good as I would expect you to put together.

By the way, welcome back!
